How to enter the competition?
Entering is easy!
- Read the instructions and rules of the competition carefully.
- Design, dream and let your creativity over come you. Create your outfit according to the instructions.
- Fill out the registration form.
- Send your submission and registration form to the address given in the instructions. Remember to send your entry early enough as no entries sent later than 30.11.2009 will be accepted.*
- You will receive a confirmation of entry via e-mail when your submission has arrived.
- The winners will be contacted personally by 15.1.2010, so best of luck with the competition!
*Post office date stamp or parcel service pickup date are used for verifying shipping date.
FIC09 Task description
Show your skills and creative power.
We seek colour saturation, joy of life, richness of details, and surprises of embroidery. Dress a woman past her teenage for autumn 2010, fitted into the framework of massproduction.
Design a indoor outfit which is fitting for sale on the internet.
Submission requirements:
- 1 outfit consisting of 3-4 items
- Artistiset sketches of the outfit and of all the individual items
- sketches in A4 size (cm 21x29,7)
- Technical sketches of individual items with complete technical description including
- Colour of items and colour charts
- Fabric detailes (include fabric samples if possible)
- Sketches in A4 size (cm 21x29,7)
- Inspirational story describing the concept of the outfit and the sources of inspiration for it
- In english, 5-10 sentences (may include images and/or material)
- All sketches must be labeled with first and last name on the back
Sending your entry
Please make sure not to fold your sketches.
Before you send your entry make sure that you include:
- Your submission
- Artistic sketch of the outfit
- Artistic sketches of the individual items (3-4 pcs)
- Technical sketches of individual items (3-4 pcs)
- Inspirational story
- Registration form completed and signed
